I am a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist and one of my focuses is mathematics. Over the past ten years we have seen a drastic decline in the number of students who are able to efficiently solve in-depth problems because they lack mastery of basic math facts.
Teachers are exposing students to multiple strategies that allow them to build concrete knowledge of math facts, but the curriculum at each grade level is so vast that students need to build mastery of their facts at home.
The old fashioned way of using flashcards is obsolete. Children need interactive and engaging activities to motivate them and this is why I am providing these fun multiplication math games for parents and children.
